      Great leadership, good opportunities, but expected to work 80 hour weeks, frown on vacation time

      Pros

      The Principles at Cognizant are all extremely knowledgeable and open people - great leaders that make relationships with the client and with the junior staff. There are a great amount of opportunities to make upward progression and your performance is widely known beyond just your project team.

      Cons

      The overall org structure of Cognizant is very confusing - even after being there for two years I still do not fully understand it. The leadership does expect their resources to work well beyond 40 hours a week, including weekends. Not much recognition/rewards given for such great amounts of overtime.

      its strong fastest growing company to work for the freshers as well as the experience holders.overall it is very satisfactory to work in cognizant.

      The number of employees taken by the company is huge for freshers and the pay scale for fresher is low.

      Pros

      None unless u are a manager. Only thing that is good here is that u get the opportunity to learn .

      Cons

      CTC not enuf. Transparency in almost evrything is lacking. HR is unorganized and not much cooperating. Switching projects is a pain in the ass.
