Great coworkers. A lot of autonomy. If you enjoy accounting, this is a great place to be. If you’re someone who is seeking a different career path, you may struggle here once you reach senior and above.

Cons

Hours can be brutal. Busy season is typically Jan through April, working 65 to upwards of 80 hours per week. It is the nature of the industry unfortunately. Not sure there’s much reward at the end of the tunnel. Once you get to a certain level, busy season hours can become routine year round. It is difficult to balance work, health and family in this career. Not specifically at Cohnreznick, but in this industry in general. Bonuses are typically insignificant, especially considering the output.
