Pros

The corporate culture is one of the best I've seen. There isn't a person in my department that I that I wouldn't feel comfortable just walking up to and starting a conversation. All management are more than happy to help you develop your life and career to what you want it to be, be it with the firm or not.

Cons

The scheduling could be better. The first couple of years into your career you are mostly hoping around to different teams so you really don't get a good feel for the industries or people with whom you work well.

Pros

Very knowledgeable and experienced co-workers; year round business casual dress code (called "dress smart"); you'll work on challenging engagements; a constant learning environment; generous PTO of 21 days to start; getting involved on all areas of the audit, from confirmations to writing footnotes. Lastly, working the majority of the time from the office and ability to work at home is a plus.

Cons

Busy season is very demanding, but is expected in public accounting. CohnReznick specializes in the affordable housing/real estate industry, so the majority of the engagements you'll work on will be these types of engagements. No 401K company match is really a huge con and is below industry standard.

Pros

The people here care about one another, and management will work with you through any situation. Yes, busy season is tough and involves long hours but we get through it together and try to have some fun while we're at it. Personal victories and life goals are acknowledged and celebrated. The professional training program is top-notch from industry- and practice-specific courses to technology and soft skills. You will "always be learning." Community service and giving back are important here.

Cons

Busy seasons can tough. At times, communication is lacking. More vetting and employee input on M&A when possible.
