Pros

Management has shown me exactly who I do not want to be and for that I am grateful.

Cons

Collabera needs a wake up call as they like to operate in delusion rather than any business sense. If you are considering a position with them please read the reviews that actually have a con listed. The others are all perfectly crafted by Collabera. What is it like to work here? Well…Priorities and goals change by the minute which will make your head spin faster than the Mad Tea Party ride at an amusement park. If you’re thinking you’ll get any truthful answer to why it constantly changes, you are wrong. Management is supposed to bring out the best in people, create opportunities, and pursue growth and advancement for them. At Collabera, they steal the sparkle from every person, complain you’re not doing enough, and ridicule you in front of peers and other managers. They demand perfection yet are the most flawed of them all. Management will do everything to make them seem bigger and better to boost their own self esteem. When they fail, that’s when the belittling appears. My advice for management, lose the inferiority complex. Metrics are a joke and are proof of just how out of touch management is. Everyone in management hasn’t actually sold anything in many years, and it really shows. They have no idea what the current landscape is and if they did they would heavily adjust metrics and priorities. My advice to management, I know you think you know everything but go ahead and listen to the people actually doing the job every day. You have some things to learn from them. HR simply doesn’t exist and acts as a broom to sweep complaints under a rug. My advice to management, it’ll cost you a whole lot less to abide by HR rules than pay out a lawsuit. If you are thinking of joining this company please do your research and trust your gut. If you are currently still there, just know other companies don’t act like this and you aren’t alone.

Pros

not enough to write about

Cons

I thought I had found a fun, team-oriented culture and environment when I first started, but it quickly changed. Since the ‘rebranding’ of the company, it completely went downhill. Complete leadership change and new responsibilities were thrown at you with immediate expectation to change. Leadership and management only care about money and not the well being of their employees. Your pay does not directly reflect the amount of effort, stress, and responsibilities that you have to take on. You can go ANYWHERE else in the staffing industry and get paid at least $20k more for THE SAME responsibilities. You’re expected to make 500+ cold calls a day, basically putting you in a call center. No wonder everyday I go on LinkedIn I see more and more people leaving. Their promotion of having an amazing workplace culture is a lie. People are always talking bad about each other behind their backs and I will emphasize that it is leadership/management talking bad about their employees. I was taken aback when I caught this happening in person. It is safe to say stop putting people in leadership/management positions that act like children and cannot run an office/company. Very typical churn and burn company with always hiring recent college grads. You will get told that you are not good enough if they see even a glimpse of struggle in your work. The solution to this is actually training your employees efficiently instead of setting them up for failure. Stay away and invest your time somewhere else. Trust me, there are so many other opportunities out there that are worth your time and effort.
