Pros
The organization has pockets of great and smart people to work with and supports very important mission which is to provide path to career or High Ed. One of the best organization if desired to have work life balance since performance and on-time results are not part of the culture.
Cons
Unfortunately, senior leaders are mix of academia and business folks who are trying to work together. Most senior members tends to be indecisive and the organization rewards ability to politicking rather than performance or producing results. The organization is also an upside down pyramid structure since senior members do not want to mentor junior members but have members who are senior enough to do it all.
