Fantastic brand, fantastic corporate - sales environment not so much!

Pros

Sales Staff - large offices so lots of opportunities to work with other agents - lots of free client events (free food, drinks, parties, prizes) - opportunity for work-life balance (no one is forcing you to be in the office) - leverage a very successful and growing brand Non-Sales Staff - lots of mentorship opportunities, if you express the interest - ability to try various departments, and see what suits you - ability to have real estate license paid for, if interested - lots of educational opportunities

Cons

Sales Staff - terrible amount of gossip, sexism, inappropriate behaviour - This is what happens when you hire 22-year olds and give them no schedule and lots of free parties Non-Sales Staff - The company does try to provide opportunities on the non-sales side and really invest in education and mentorship. At the end of the day, however, this is a sales company so positions in higher roles are limited. There may be an eventual ceiling, but at least learn as much as you can and use all networking opportunities within the company and industry while you're there.
