Pros

genuinely delicious food in the cafeteria every day (and plenty of options to choose from, and different every day!). Was never expected to work on weekends or past my typical 9-5 (which was nicely flexible as well), although I know this is very much NOT the case for team leads.

Cons

lied about allowing remote/hybrid to both existing employees and new hires, and then started making up issues with whole swaths of employees so that they could then demand they come into the office full time so management could "keep an eye on them." Very bad micromanaging, can't have a second of downtime type stuff (exactly why I want to work from home). They did a massive hiring wave and then a big layoff only a couple of months later, rather than just hiring qualified staff (or paying enough to get them). Big problem with diversity, lots of white men, and it gets worse the higher up the ladder you look.

Pros

It is a good place to get your foot in the door in the aerospace industry.

Cons

This company will overwork you and will never reward you for it. They will refuse to give you a raise or a promotion no matter how much more productive you are than your peers. This site is designed to burn out engineers within a couple years and then replace you.

Hired as Remote, forced to RTO

Pros

I liked working remote for the time I had. My immediate team is great.

Cons

I was hired as a 100% remote employee. Now I'm being forced to RTO 5 days/week because I live within a commutable distance to an office. Talk about a bait and switch. I have lost any goodwill I had with the company. I feel lied to and betrayed. I can't imagine this works out well, they're going to be bleeding top talent.
