Pros

Worked at the employee store, the other sales associates were very nice and easy to get along with. You need a pass to get into the store so the customers are usually pretty excited to be there. Got a Trimet pass for only 2 dollars out of my paycheck.

Cons

There are too many managers and they are all telling you to do something else. They don't know how to speak to people in a professional manor, they treat you like a child. The pay is extremely low and they almost only hire part-time so there are no benefits. The work is extremely boring most of the time, but that's retail. It's frustrating that there is all this amazing half price clothing and gear, but they still don't pay you enough to be able to afford any of it.

Pros

Low stress Good core of sales associates, "teamwork" relatively good management Pretty good discount... if you like cargo pants and fishing shirts.

Cons

Working in an outlet mall. Lower management turnover. Secret shopper reports taken more seriously than actual visible customer service. Lack of opportunity for more responsibility, never challenging. (could be a pro depending on the person) Constant emphasis on what has been done wrong, extremely rare emphasis on what has been done right. (no incentive for going above and beyond)
