      Pros

      Columbia offers their employees good pay, a friendly atmosphere and the management believed in abilities of employees and didn't micromanage. They also made efforts to reward employees who did well. Columbia also gives monthly bonuses if sales goals were met, which was great.

      Cons

      There was a lack of training by management in the stores. Not enough was provided to be able to confidently answer all customer questions without hesitation or having to go back and ask management the proper response.

      Great work life balance, great pay, opportunities for growth, company culture is fantastic, sand volleyball and benefits are amazing. Senior management is visible and accessible. Very friendly work atmosphere - informal.

      Not much for tuition reimbursement (2k a year), flat management organization may limit opportunities for some,

      Pros

      Close-knit even though it's a large company. Gert & Tim are very visible and great. Employees like to have fun and summertime there is great! Sand volleyball anyone?

      Cons

      When I started, salary seemed on the low side, but they have recently reviewed salaries and are now comparable to other companies in the area.
