Pros

Good people except for mangement. Pay is slightly above average, location is ok, benefits ok, nice that you can roll your vacation from year to year.

Cons

Management......upper management, middle management. They ALL micro-management and treat employees like children. Like we are incapable of intelligent thoughts. They have no idea what our jobs consist of yet try to tell us the best way to do them. Pathetic excuses for human beings. They should all be fired....wipe the slate clean and start again.

Pros

Unique industry accepted Brand Leader in Forging products line Great People who really want to create success Non-Union Environment

Cons

No incentive program Clueless upper management No Strategic Planning Dis-functional stove piped new product development process Poor internal communications Very reactionary upper management to bad news Archaic IT systems Three Reductions In Force (Layoffs) in less than 18 Months. Senior Management (Selective Director Level personnel) Very insecure and abusive No people skills Reviews are totally subjective without any objective or goal related criteria applied. Work Hard, Play Hard Culture Leaves one to question judgement of leaders Site leadership practices and practically encourages infidelity outside of work to ensure his own actions are considered normal and acceptable. I could go on.....

Pros

Most employees are hourly so if you put overtime, you get paid for it. Since there's no process for anything, it's hard to mess up!

Cons

No process set in place for anything. No strategic plans. All activities are under "throwing spaghetti at the wall". Top management does not plan anything ahead and the result is last minute requests ALL THE TIME. They know about a meeting weeks in advance but don't strategies and the ones at the bottom end up with "this should be quick for you" requests that are due in an hour.
