Great school for people interested in teaching

Good part time subliment to high school teaching, totally different learning interaction provides a different kind of reward, mostly hard working students, good pay, math department run well

Cons

Not as much room for creative teaching as HS, not much opportunity to advance or progress into full time

Full-time employees can take classes for free

Cons

Depending on which department you work in, there may be little opportunity for advancement. Also, you may find that how hard you work is not reflected in reviews or bonuses. In my particular department, my boss was consistently instructed not to give any above-average reviews, regardless of performance.
