Pros

Hourly wage is great. I like to work autonomously, which we almost always do. There is support available if needed. Parking on campus is a pain during the daytime, but night is usually not a problem.

Cons

Shared office space for part-time employees that is rarely cleaned with a filthy frig and microwave. Unless you have a Ph.D., odd are extremely thin of ever joining full time faculty.

Co-workers, and the job itself is satisfying.

Lack of communication and the feeling that new leadership comes across, maybe unintentional, as being out of touch with common working people.
