Pros

Talented engineers, very nice project staff, high tech and up to speed with technology. Nice family culture. Good work life balance depending on work load.

Cons

Disjointed management, very stressful politics, the project management lead has very little credible experience and learned mostly on the job. Very high school and emotionally driven. Work environment is more like the blame game.

You will be make a huge mistake if you want to put the cloud keyword with Column Technologies Inc. If you have a choice between 2 jobs, run very fast from this company. This place has a high turnover rate and the CEO has knowledge of this and encourages it.

Pros

Very professional, responsive management. Fantastic technical and professional experience.

Cons

In a misguided attempt to appear to be looking out for the customer's bottom line, traveling employees are required to save their meal receipts and keep booze off them entirely, instead of just using the standard GSA per diem rates. As a retention measure, employees who leave the company of their own volition are required to repay the required training they received.
