Business Outlook
Pros
Good pay and benefits. Alot of positions available throughout the company. Leadership mostly aligned with allowing you to move around.
Cons
No work life balance in most project/program management positions. Extreme focus on metrics which is not bringing value but resulting in long unnecessary hours and meetings to prepare and discuss minor variances (lots of micromanagement). Because the company is very progressive it is difficult to get promoted or considered for promotion if you are not diverse. Most in leadership do not stay in their positions very long so you have someone coming in gutting the department, to improve metrics, and leaving the cleanup for the next manager.
