      Get to learn a lot about FMLA which is useful

      Cons

      Everything else. It’s very isolating to work for this company. I’ve always felt like just a warm body cranking out work that any one can do. Everything is extremely focused on meeting goals. There is very little invitation for collaboration and they make it extremely hard to move departments or change positions, and the pay is terrible.

      LegalConnect attorneys provide legal information via phone consults to clients as part of their employee benefits plan. For social justice-minded attorneys, it’s an excellent way to increase access to the legal system and help clients without billing them. This job offers: -excellent work/life balance - set work hours with designated lunch break -minimal stress -small department with a great manager -remote work -generous PTO policy, good benefits & perks such as access to company suite at the United Center and Soldier Field.

      Compensation; work can get repetitive but there are opportunities to seek out additional responsibilities and research projects if desired; lack of advancement opportunities within the company.

      Everything about the company from the office to the tech to the culture feels like it hasn't been updated since the 90s, cool to stay for first ever experience but move on as soon as you can
