Pros

Sales training in Chicago is top notch. Best I've seen in 10 years of sales with different companies. Opportunity to make a lot of money, if you work really hard, and do it with some help calling on current clients. Can go both B2B & B2C. Products are great. Company is great at paying claims. It helps to make sales when claims are paid so well. Lots of room to move up.

Cons

Sales isn't for everyone. Hiring manager gives people a chance that deserve it. But after the training, you have to do it! I have worked lots of commission only jobs where there is no training. It is sink or swim. That isn't the case here. But some people just aren't willing to do what it takes to have success. It won't be done for you here, that is for sure!

Thank you for sharing so many positives about working at Combined Insurance! We especially appreciate hearing from our current employees, and it’s great to hear that you agree our sales training is “top notch.” We know that once our agents are trained, they can be successful if we provide them with what they need to be successful: solid products to sell, management support, ongoing field training, a great claims experience for their customers, and the ability to make a virtually unlimited income. Thank you for pointing out that once we do our part, it’s up to the individual to “do what it takes to have success.” We wish you all the best in your career here at Combined Insurance!
