Pros

If you are willing to commit to a year and follow their training program, Combined Insurance provides one of the best knowledge based learning about supplemental insurance and have to be a great sales professional. Customers love the products price points and benefit offerings.

Cons

Combined Insurance is almost a 100 years young organization. Since Chubb acquired Combined Insurance back in 2015, Combined insurance is going through many changes and challenges. Overall, they went from a family and customer focus mindset to a more stockholder - profit driven mindset. Recently they merge their Worksite Division with their Core (mostly residents focus) Division. Customers are seeking two things. First, to have the same local agents. Second, there was a time when all you had to do was completed a claim form, have the doctor complete a doctor's statement and you were paid. Today, loyal customers feel these two requirements are no longer enough and whatever Combined use to do behind the scenes (maybe contact the doctor/hospital for verification) the burden to provide proof is now placed with the customer.
