Pros

Great name for your resume. Competitive salaries and Benefits, Great personal-work life balance. Great 401K plan, Great opportinites to growth within the Company.

Cons

Too much politics. Sometimes it takes too many people to make a simple decision. Huge bureaucracy, no management empowerment – all final decision come from one person, the region’s SR VP (AMY). Affraid of written policies and clear procedures.

Pros

The benefits: Free Cable, Good health insurance, lots of vacation time

Cons

I recently watched a sketch on The Today Show about bullying in the workplace. The management at Comcast Spotlight is awful and have turned into bullies. They do not listen to the sales staff. Over 50% of the sales reps currently there are looking for jobs right now. They have laid off all administrative staff and are not allowing their sales staff to sell but holding them responsible to unrealistic goals. It is an awful place to work. If you are an experienced sales person, run for the hills or ask for billing history because they are not truthful and do not deliver what is promised.

Pros

The job is interesting, and defintiely challenging at times. Co-workers are amazing, and many with great personalities. Free cable and internet matters a lot too.

Cons

Too many managers and not enough workers. Work often gets pushed down from one group to another until it finally lays in your lap. Not to mention e-mail chains of work that could be ordered with a simple call directly, but instead gets stuck in someone's mail box for 3 hours and then sent to you 30 minutes before end of day. Often times there are incompetent workers from a different groups that you need data from which halts any work getting completed any further until it's delivered.
