Pros

You do get to bond with the client and their family very well. It is fun when the client is able or willing to get out of the house and do fun, interesting things. Most of the time, they have a plethora of stories to keep you entertained.

Cons

The management is terrible. Absolutely terrible. They over work some employees but under work others. They suspend employees even when they find no evidence to support accusations made against someone. They do not take care of problems in a timely manner.

Pros

Its easier to get to know the clients and their family. More time to spend with them at a slower pace and able to dedicate yourself to their needs.

Cons

Usually hard to get long hours and you are often on your own to do lifting.
