      Good work environment at commerce bank, not enough pay.

      Pros

      Good work atmosphere and good training, that really care about your knowledge and understanding. They are typically flexible with vacation and schedule.

      Cons

      Don't get paid enough for the work and stuff they want you to know. It's super hard to get promoted. Typically takes forever, HR is really slow.

      Pros

      Decent pay. Customers are great and you get to know them really well. There are lots of business customers, so it makes for a good opportunity to network.

      Cons

      No work life balance. Expected to work 6 days a week each week as a part time employee. Turnover rate is ridiculous because of this. Referral program is a joke when you see the same exact people every day.

      Pros

      Good place to learn how not to treat employees especially in the IT department. Good place to get your feet wet in IT so that you can move on to bigger and better companies.

      Cons

      Management does not seem to listen or include experienced employees in decision making process especially in the IT department. Management does not communicate well with workers especially in the IT department. Short term goals to improve bottom line seems to be major goal.
