Pros
* Usually pretty stable company to work for. * Has a very strong work-life balance for most employees. Most of the time, after 5:00, everyone is off work and no one needs to bring any work home. * Pretty standard employee benefits.
Cons
* Project decisions can take a very long time as it goes through multiple layers of red tape and hurdles. * Cautious about new technologies, so they're not using cutting-edge technology and tend to only use technology that have been in the industry for a while. * The pay has for a very long time, tended to be on the lower end for what the same position would pay for other companies. It's only recently that they've been increasing pay.
