      Pros

      flexible scheduling. It is great to be able to make up time you miss, approved or not. It is also great to be able to work flexible hours like 4 10 hour shifts.

      Cons

      must use earned PTO for holidays since they are closed but do not pay you for those days. Cannot use PTO and OT on the same pay cycle like some companies. Even though the OT hours worked would be paid regular time, and on top of that getting paid for the PTO hours used.

      Great Place for Growth

      Pros

      Penrose-Saint Francis is a Magnet facility and offers many opportunities for RN growth in the Colorado Springs area. Management and the Education department want to support the growth of their staff within the Centura system and work with you to recognize your goals.

      Cons

      The salary is lower than other cities I have worked in but is on par with the Colorado Springs area.

      Pros

      Great people, positive corporate culture. Nice amenities, building and grounds.

      Cons

      Uncertainty as top management is changing along with CEO change. There is some tension that wasn't there with the last CEO. Time will tell.
