      Pros

      Non Profit hospital, includes very dedicated employees willing, to work together, help, lead, educate and share the load. The general working environment is pleasant and encourages mutual admiration for others.

      Cons

      Like most hospitals, Centura Health can have hours that extend into overtime without extra pay.

      Pros

      Started at St. Francis for my first nursing job and loved it. The unit I was on did not have a specific "New Grad Training Program", but I had about 6 weeks of orientation with a few different preceptors. Awesome staff to work with and manager, too. Loved that they did a lot of health incentives throughout the year to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

      Cons

      Having to work call hours was a bummer, but I knew this would be a part of the job going into it.

      Employees tend to stay here for their entier careers. It is easy to move up once you're in.

      Everyone has a "that's not my job" kind of attitude.
