Pros

- Best work culture and regular cultural activities. - Everyone is always ready to help you get over your stuck.

Cons

- As the product has its own framework, it is difficult in starting 3-5 months. - Most of the knowledge you will gain will not be much helpful outside the company. - You certainly can not google most of the stuff and will need other's help to overcome your stuck.

Excellent! Thank you for sharing this. Your comment about the culture and Aptify being the best company you've been part of are truly energizing comments to read. We will continue to grow our culture and your involvement in helping us find ways to strengthen what is already going well will be very helpful. Thanks again for sharing and please keep the feedback flowing if you think of ways we can make things even better or address any issues that arise over time.

I am sorry to hear that you are not having a positive experience at Aptify. Regarding the Pros noted as being a good place for ladies and fresher(for those outside of India, "fresher" is the term in India used for people just out of college) --- I am happy to hear you feel that way but it is important to note that Aptify wants to be a great place for EVERYONE - we value a diverse and inclusive culture so that we can have the most innovative thoughts flowing at all times. So, I see those bullet points as positives, but they imply that you feel we are not a good place for folks outside of the two noted categories, and if that is the case, I'd like to understand why you feel that way. Regarding our product - yes, indeed many elements of the knowledge you gain at Aptify is related to Aptify's product and technology and processes. There are pros and cons to this - you learn a great deal about a leading platform and approach, but your knowledge is more focused in our world than it would be if you were to do things with more generic platforms. Of course, our product is built on top of the latest software such as HTML5/JavaScript/jQuery/.NET and others so you learn a great deal about those technologies too. Ultimately, this is really a choice each team member needs to make - to work with more generic platforms or to work with something like Aptify. The attrition comment is one that we definitely have been and will continue to address - minimizing voluntary attrition in particular is a key goal and it has gone down by a large percentage since the Sep 2013 timeframe when this review was posted. It is still a problem, however, and our ultimate goal is to have almost zero voluntary attrition. We launched a program called X-Factor retention which was led by a team outside of senior management who provided a series of recommendations that we are implementing now. I believe this will further reduce attrition and also provide improvements for the growth path for all team members. Finally, your comment about politics and senior management not being good, it is hard to do much with that level of granularity. If you can write me or call I'd appreciate hearing more of your thoughts on this (202-368-0533/amith.nagarajan@aptify.com) -Amith
