Cons

Inept management, negative culture and environment. Their leadership style is to use fear and intimidation.. No collaboration with management on decisions or development of programs or problem solving.. High turnover.

Pros

The pay is competitive. There is an opportunity to help addicted persons with a variety of needs. They offer 12 hour shifts so you get four days off per week. It is not a monotonous workplace, you never know just what will happen next. There is no need to punch out for lunch or dinner break, you just eat while you work.

Cons

The clients are usually impaired by drugs and alcohol so they can be aggressive and it is not uncommon to be assaulted. The supervisors are not educated, meaning they have no college degrees. The company usually only promotes people that have been sober for three months or more. Therefore, if you are not an addict and you have an education, the chances for a promotion are slim to none.
