      Pros

      The medical services are excellent. Facilities are taken care of for the most part. Finance does expose you to a lot of higher-ups right away. Flexibility and work life balance if you have a good leader.

      Cons

      Far too many finance “leaders” in title only. No room for growth and the pay scale doesn’t go very far. Insurance coverage is ridiculously insufficient, but they love to tell you how they’re above average. If you end up with a poor finance leader (and there are quite a few), work life balance goes right out the window.
