Pros

Solid product and best in breed.

Cons

The CEO could careless about how Public sector works and is not worth is wait in salt. Furthermore the company want you to do 90% admin work , than being a sales engineer. Management is top heavy and are pushing more and more jobs to India. Commvault use to be a great company and now is just another backup company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your contributions to making Commvault what it is today. With any new CEO coming in there is going to be change. Sanjay comes with his own vision and pace of work and has some big goals, which is exactly why our founders Bob and Al, along with the board, choose him to lead us through this next chapter. However, it’s important to stress that Sanjay and the leadership are not about changing everything, but rather evolving our culture and accelerating our business by making continuous improvements to build on the phenomenal foundation and legacy that Bob and Al with all Vaulters the preceded him have created. The transformation we are undergoing as a company is indeed challenging but also necessary and deliberately centered around fueling sustainable growth and realize our potential as a company. Pros

Commvault has some great employees Most comprehensive backup solution on the market Benefits are good including unlimited PTO and a zero dollar health plan

Cons

Commvault used to have family-like culture with minimal bureaucracy but there have been many leadership changes over the past few years including an almost entire replacement of sr. leadership in the Americas over the past 6 months. Voluntary attrition is extremely high and layoffs are frequent, sales performance has been consistently poor for the past eight quarters, and morale is low. Last month people were given promotions, and then laid off, leaving people feeling very uneasy about their job stability. Product is comprehensive but complex and account teams keep changing for the customer due to the many changes in strategy and territory alignment.
