      Pros

      Money is decent if you can get corporate to buy in on your customer. Product has lots of functionality in its space.

      Cons

      Engineering lead. Corporate feels the product sells itself and changes strategy and licensing direction frequently which makes customers wary during pursuits. Revolving door of customer facing resources which also makes customers wary and limits new logo acquisition.

      Pros

      Benefits of working with a large organization- flexible time off and sick time, etc. There are a lot of technologies that you work with to help expand personal knowledge.

      Cons

      Management appears to be somewhat more reactive instead of proactive. Work-life balance is challenging.

      -Friendly managers -Helpful co-workers -Fun office events and parties -Inclusive and friendly workspace -Your choice when it came to deciding the path of growth (which department you'd like to work towards) -Decent severance package which included a service to help prep/get a new job (pre-pandemic)

      Cons

      -Sometimes getting in touch with other departments or higher up coworkers was a hassle or too late -Great amenities in the office, no time to use them -Stories of people starting at the bottom, working well above and beyond (after hours, on their own time) shoved down our throats as "the" way to grow within the company -Dept was outsourced -Once the outsourcing process had begun, it was everyone for themselves to try to get hired onto another position before the last day.
