Pros

Compass has a sleek, modern, luxurious brand. They have many tools and resources that allow you to prepare for meeting with buyers for buyer consultations and meeting with sellers such as your listing booklet and CMA packet. They have great online tools in your compass agent home. It is very easy to create a beautiful CMA package, all you have to do is enter the address or MLS number for your comparables and it creates a beautiful, presentable CMA Packet with analytics for the best price recommendation. They have social media, email templates, direct mail templates already made for different categories that allows you to easily market to prospects. You can run digital ads directly from your agent home the marketing team received it and they run the ad for you. They have a way where you can set up search criteria to email clients, tours for buyers with a map view and it allows you to send it in a more presentable way than the MLS. Compass has a lot of agents who have been in the business for a long time, have experience in the luxury real estate market and the exposure to them and other agents is unmatched, sophisticated and inspiring.

Cons

Although they give you folders, booklets, unlimited supply of print and great marketing tools you pay 10% to the brokerage. In errors and omissions fee, a resource fee and compass doesn't allow you to be a solo agent entering the brokerage unless you have a track record. If you are invited on by a team you are allowed to join without having that requirement. You have to have a minimum $8 million in sold sale volume to join as a COMPASS solo agent. Also, it would be nice for the brokerage to have a, when you meet your goals you can get 100% of your commission and a large course that can improve agents such as some other brokerages offer like Keller Williams with their "BOLD" program.
