Toxic management, manipulative practices, overpricing clients for subpar food that Unidine pays 3X the market rate for, presumably for kickbacks. They will sell you on an honest job, helping kind, elderly people with the promise of work/life balance. They lie about the budgets, throwing the client under the bus while underpaying and overworking everyone. They talk through both sides of their mouths - "take a vacation" and "self-care," and have videos to demonstrate our "wellness practices," but they will work you to the bone so that you cry yourself to sleep at night. When you try to set a boundary because you're suffering from exhaustion, they will shame you on an email, commanding you to take on a full person's job and cc 15 people. There is no room for advancement unless you move to corporate or anywhere in the country they want you to. However, they lie about that in the interview, preaching about scholarships and career growth and minimizing the job's responsibilities. When I' was pulling in 60-hour work weeks, I was insulted and told a low-paid admin could do my job - gaslighting is their #1 MO. Turnover is atrocious, and when people quit or are fired for refusing to take on a 5th person's job, they'll call them names and say they're lazy or mentally ill. I witnessed this with several different people, and these were people who once called the name-callers their "best friends." Et tu Brute? Oh yes, these are snakes of the worst kind. Don't take it from me; please read the reviews here and pay attention - the positive reviews are vague and sparse, and according to other reviewers, coerced by the CEO. It starts from the top; from what I've read, this man is not a good person. Everyone lies and steps on each other. Expect to make the worst pay of your life and work the most. They don't care, as retention is not a value of theirs. Ironically, ageism is rampant while working with senior facilities, as they promote young underperformers while castigating more senior high performers and paying them 20% less than their counterparts. As one reviewer stated, expect poorly written emails and documents as most people who rise through the ranks are inarticulate, uneducated, and frankly losers at any other company. At Unidine, they're GODs, as I guess they help the top's fragile ego. Educated, diligent, hard-working people are abused while the unfriendly, inarticulate, unconfident sycophants are rewarded. Welcome to Unidene - a company with a personality disorder. Lastly, be prepared for benefits that may only cover 5 to 10% of your monthly premium. Expect to see a substantial loss in pay for signing up for benefits. I would have had better luck with Obama-Care
