Working at ESS Compass Group
Pros
Ive been with ESS Compass Group Canada for nearly 4 years. since then I have learned and grown so much thanks to the company, my GM's, supervisors, and coworkers. Compass Group Canada has a high standard of health and safety in the workplace and always encourages us to bring out safety practices home with us. I have always loved how dedicated Compass Group is to their staff and clients safety. They strive for the best quality of service to our clients, be it Food, housekeeping, or maintenance, Compass Group always puts it customers first. Compass Group has always been extremely considerate of employees personal needs in their own lives with family and friends outside of work. All in all working for Compass Group has been a great experience for me, and has helped me become a better worker.
Cons
Downsides? cant realy think of many, Though I have always worked in remote camp sites for Compass Group, I guess one downside to that would be the long shift rotations can be tiring on a body, and sometimes hard on your family. since i first started working for ESS Compass Group, I have heard many complaints within ESS about the low pay for entry level positions, i always say that its normal considering its an entry level position. some places pay more, and also it depends on your experience. personally I have never had an issue with my wage.
