Pros

I was formerly employed as Machine Learning Engineer 2 at Compass. I worked on the Similar Homes Recommendation System. Approachable management. Variety of projects. Work Life balance

Cons

ML projects are quire unstructured. The company was still transforming to the cloud and had much left to be desired in terms of best MLOps practices. ***Very little Job Security***

Pros

Great leadership, the CEO personally calls literally every new hire to welcome them to the company. They have an unfair product advantage in the market, being the only company to have built an end-to-end platform for agents to use. Pretty reasonable workload on my end although Agent Experience Managers seemed to be understaffed and overloaded all the time. Solid middle management.

Cons

Company had to make a lot of cuts during the market downturn, but this is real estate and things were hard for everyone in this industry.
