Pros

Friendly: Nearly everyone (across all departments) is super welcoming, friendly and more than willing to lend a hand if needed. The teams consists of energetic, smart and motivated people, and still manage to strike a work/life balance. Creative: From the managerial staff to fellow colleagues, there's encouragement to push the brand forward, to innovate, and think outside the box. In a corporate environment, the creative aspects of a role are usually limited but here they're embraced. Collaborative: With so many regional offices and a large HQ team (in NYC) there's a lot of moving parts and opportunities to collaborate. The tools and technology are all in place to communicate nationwide. We're encouraged to learn and collaborate with other regions as well as get support from the big machine in the city.

Cons

Work is not limited to the workplace, in some instances we're expected to turn around projects outside of typical work hours (i.e. late evening/weekends).

Compass is on the move!

Pros

Truly an amazing company! Aside from having a very strong collaborative culture, Compass keeps acute focus on developing ways to make the real estate industry better. From creating platforms, apps, and an environment for agents to be more productive and efficient, to easing and informing the process of buying and selling for clients and customers - Compass is improving it all!

Cons

Being fast-paced in an industry that can have many moving parts often creates the need to pause and reflect on what's working and what's not. Compass is still young and learning from change, feedback, and mistakes. While I don't necessarily consider this a con, one must be prepared to be flexible and willing to flow with a company on this trajectory.

Pros

- Amazing office and rooftop - Cool tech amenities (beer in the fridge, cold brew on tap, free catered lunch, company sponsored dinners) - Strong executive leadership team - Rewarding employees who are star performers, and they get acknowledged throughout the company.

Cons

- We set very aggressive company targets. Not a con, but sometimes business processes and operations need to catch up with our growth, but that comes with the territory of being a hyper growth company
