2.5 Stars. Interesting Concept, but is Income potential different than competitors?
Pros
Surrounded by a bunch of reasonably smart staff, that's a plus. Pay is at bottom/mid of market level, but people are excited to be on ground floor of a start-up. They put New York employees who come to Beverly Hills office into nice hotel rooms.
Cons
The support staff is filled with fresh people who have interesting ideas, but no real Real Estate background. So too many inexperienced people giving advice on how to run internal structure, only to be over-ridden by another inexperienced person who enthusiastically pushes new untested ideas. Many minor mistakes in ordering and reordering office infrastructure, furnishings, supplies, etc. Give real estate agents access to technology and a social chat platform, and expect them to revolutionize the industry? Maybe Not? Is the Real Estate industry really going to be revolutionized by giving the real estate agents access to google docs and an in-house social platform? The real estate agents all struggle to use the tech, and not many sales being closed in the short term, but I guess that is to be expected in a new office. Office is definitely burning through money though.
