      Great co workers, strong market fit

      Cons

      No raises in 2 years and was told there would not be raises (only commission, which was also drastically decreased), no 401k match, any benefit we had was taken away. Forced to come into the office 5 days a week (zero flexibility, no hybrid option) after being remote for 3 years.

      They have all of these programs that imply that they do care and Robert Reffkin is a person of color but real estate is still a very racist place. There were many people of color that are underpaid there, asked to train others and never promoted, and will be the first to be laid off. They don't care.

      When I first began working at Compass over two years ago I absolutely loved the culture and benefits. They had a “no jerks” policy that really shined through.

      Cons

      After going public with their IPO, everything changed drastically. Internal org structure changed so many times and I had over 4 managers in one year time. They continued to recruit bottom of the barrel agents who were desperate to join compass vs the other way around and treated us as such. Work load was literally impossible and after several rounds of layoffs the platform experiences so many issues and bugs. The quality of Compass has immensely declined.
