      Pros

      Compassus has an extensive history in providing hospice and now providing palliative care. We have grown exponentially over the last few years and with that of course comes challenges of its own. Being a leader and advocating for quality healthcare is what is foremost for Compassus. Passion for people is what matters, whether they are colleagues, patients, families or the community at large. We have to make healthcare better for all of us!

      Cons

      If your venture/workplace involves people then there are always challenges, perceptions and personalities to embrace. The skills and tools at working through those challenges must be shared, practiced and consistently enforced.

      I have been employed by compassus for 23 years. I could not imagine working for any other company! The opportunities are endless and succession planning is a strong focus of the organization. Our core values are at the forefront of every decision made from the corporate level down to the individual programs. I would recommend this company to anyone from care needs for self / loved one to employment opportunities. I have been dedicated for over 2 decades and plan on 2 more!

      Pros

      Compassus is the best hospice to work for. The company believes in doing the right thing for the patients and giving them quality care regardless of ability to pay. They are proactive with regulatory requirements and strive to be a leader within the industry. If I ever need anything, I always get a response from our corporate office and help. I feel appreciated and valued at work, which is extremely important to me.

      Cons

      With growth in any company comes growing pains. However, even with that, they again take a proactive approach to try to manage and minimize any issues.
