Pros

This company merged with Covenant Hospice in 2014 a small company with Dr. David Capper as the owner and Medical Director. Covenant Hospice was a family and employees were family.

Cons

Compassus is a larger company that owns multiple smaller hospices. It was a shame that Dr. Capper had to give this up due to the future government regulations that he could not financially apply to. Bigger company equals more stricter management not only with government regulations but with employees as well. This company changed the clinical team ( RNs, CNAs, LMSWs, Chaplains) to hourly wage from their salary wage. Tells employees every day not to have any overtime and will council you until they terminate you. They tell you one thing and do something different. Not compliant with the company's protocols. Very unhappy employees and lower management that has no say about anything this company does.
