Pros

Working in hospice is rewarding. Pay is above average. Great people... as individuals. If they could only work as a team.

Cons

Staff who are team players learn through the behavior of management that you will be taken advantage of and made to feel less for setting healthy work/life boundaries. Managers are not above playing one employee against another. This does not improve team work.

Cons

While this is a large company, they skirted covid relief requirements by classifying their individual branches as individual businesses. This meant, because there are less than 15 employees at office branches, they did not have to offer support for their essential workers...even though this is the third largest hospice company in the country. Toxic and hostile work environment with under qualified and under-trained people running branches. These Directors have zero leadership capabilities or training and allow employees to be harassed and ridiculed.

Freedom from micromanagement for the most part

Cons

Would not even provide Frontline workers with COVID-19 vaccine. Had to find on our own. Benefit package is terrible, very, very expensive.
