Temp to Hire

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Pay is fair for job.

Cons

Seemed great at first, but after being promised a temp to hire job in a specific location, and with an above average productivity output on my part, the company wanted to move me to a location much further away. Complete Staffing was then not only horrible to me, but did not communicate with me, offer me anything else and said I was at fault! AWFUL EXPERIENCE... seriously incompetent staff. DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM EVER! First feedback I have given on any company, product or service I have given in a long time! What a lifesucking exerience. The rep who worked with my company seriously is totally unfit for his job. Terrible at communications.

Sales / Recruiter

Pros

1 hour lunch break, gym and market located on site. Weekly pay.

Cons

Cons: Extremely outdated work culture, office is an open floor concept where everyone is sitting next to each other making calls throughout the day. They do have separate offices on site that you can go to for privacy if you have an established meeting, but they made statements constantly that all sales calls must be made on the floor. No hybrid or work from home options allowed, management makes this adamantly clear during the hiring process that all account managers and recruiters are to be on site from 8 am to 5 pm. Work-life balance can become very difficult here and this practice comes off as micromanaging employees instead of providing flexibility or trust for their employees. I’ve seen multiple account managers and recruiters who previously worked here find similar roles at new firms that provide these WFH or hybrid options. There is also no 401k offered at this job, be prepared to open a separate rollover IRA account for retirement. There is no established sales model, they do have experienced and intelligent people who train you on terminology of job roles and offer to help if you get stuck, but in terms of business development I found it extremely difficult to get leads from cold calls and emails. I was sometimes making 100-200 calls a day, be prepared for this if you are attempting to build new business as this is an inside sales job. You must be turning in results quickly; they do provide opportunities to many new employees who do not have experience in the staffing industry but also do not have patience for those same workers if they are not turning in results immediately. Make sure you are asking management what the expectation is for the first 6-12 months is in your position, especially if you are being asked to develop new business in a territory in which they do not have a presence in. CSS has shown a history of not honoring 2 weeks notices, I saw multiple employees be asked to leave the site the day they provided their notices which I found extremely unprofessional and spoke volumes about their opinions of their employees.
