      Good place to start. Great exposure to big companies. Low payment. Almost no management

      Pros

      Good place to start. Great exposure to big companies. Very dynamic environment for starters.

      Cons

      The low payment is a key and no raises forever so you have to move on after one or two years. You barely talk to your manager to resolve internal issues but don' expect them to solve it because it will never happen.

      Pros

      I've worked for CompuCom for almost 5 years now. I get to travel all over and meet people. Job is very "Self Paced" with little supervision and is perfect for people that are "Self Motivated". A very good start for your IT career. Lots of opportunity for training and certifications. Good benefits once you become a permanent employee.

      Cons

      Lots of work for low pay. Management team is not local. No pay raises for almost 5 years. Managers are slow to offer praise by quick to place blame when things go wrong. No support from help desk for serious problems. Help desk is out sourced to Mexico and India.

      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity to move up. They offer lots of options for continuing education, such as helping out with certifications.

      Cons

      Compensation is abysmal. Will put you in a low paying, high responsibility position, but pay you less, because you are new to the position, but never increase your pay.
