Pros

Good benefits, The people I support under the contract are awesome. CompCom has won many contracts that you can jump to.

Cons

We get no support or raises from the gumby back boned management. The people who write the contract do not seem to have a clue. When we have a good manager they usually leave for a better company. The daily stress only gets worse when they add more work because they laid off more people. We have to deal with Level 1 not getting the correct info like location, contact info. How about getting the cases to us on time so we can help our customers. I constantly have to manage my cases for things that I should not have to do. Then it is my responsiblity to make sure that the case is on the wash list or my review is affected by the metrics of someone elses mistakes. The reviews are the most ridiculas I have ever had. I went from top employee to 32 after a change of management. Nothing changed but the layoffs more work and a different manager. I did not receive a raise when I Exceeded Expectations for 2.5 years. Then dropped to meet expectations when they announced the chance of getting a raise.

Pros

-Great work/life balance (PTO is very generous and managers are typically easy-going when you need to take time off and/or have an appointment) -

Cons

-Pay (the pay is way below what a typical market should be) -Benefits (horrible 401(k) match but medical and dental is okay) -No advancement opportunities (no room for growth, this company does not do well in allowing their employees to move up in the company)

Pros

Depends on who is your manager really. Normally you can look at getting some certs/training depending on the team you are on. They do give you good PTO and it is a 40 hour week job which can help in balance of life.

Cons

In the time I have been their (over 2 years) we have been given more responsibilities and also have had our benefits reduce even though the company has shown profit even during this "recession". They have also offered less pay for new hires which have resulted in less qualified people getting hired which simply makes it harder to work. The management is not so good they fail to deliver continuously on what they say - they never follow through. In the time I have been there I have only seen 1 bonus - for what I have no idea and it was so little it didn't really matter. Also, there was maybe 1 or 2 reviews but nothing ever came from it - no raise anyways. Management is a struggle and sometimes getting days off can be tough because they don't staff enough people on some of the team to be able to take off. I find it very frustrating to gain about 50% more work and still make the same. Also training in regards to the new work has been very pathetic - we don't even know how to support these clients because we have no idea how the technology works. No and very little documentation.
