Pros

Good place to start, gives you good background for the field. Don't think they are any pro's working for CompuCom.

Cons

No pay raise in over there years. They now give you "points" to collect to cash in from merchandise, that are taxed when you do cash em in. How much cheaper can they get.

Pros

Good place to get your foot in the IT field door if your just out of school, or in need of a job, but get out as soon as you can!

Cons

Poor pay, no pay increase, very little to no bonuses, HUGE clique within management team. Complaints are either ignored, or turned around to be "your fault". Rewards are geared towards closing the most calls, and making SLA's at all costs, not customer service minded. Work load is so large you have to work on your own time, as overtime is forbidden. Mileage compensation is well below federal standards, not to mention they force you to take "commuting mileage" out even though you work from your "home office". Absolutely no incentive to grow as an employee. Morale is very low.

Pros

Good starting point. If you are new to IT it is a good jumping point. Don't stay on and get stuck though if you have a choice.

Cons

The pay is low. They base increases on numbers. The numbers show amount of calls closed. The employees with less experience and ability take all the calls needing less knowledge so are able to close many more. They look good on paper but are not able to take calls that require real ability. This is a difficult point to the rest of us. When we try and voice that concern or any other concerns we are shut down by management and or looked at as being a trouble maker.
