Pros

We have never ending change to challenge you as we grow into whatever it is the senior executives think we should be. While the regular employees don't necessarily agree with the goals, it certainly provides plenty of opportunity to stretch yourself if you find challenging projects to work on. Management is quite flexible regarding remote work allowing employees to work from home on a regular basis. This may not apply to all areas of the company but is certainly a benefit in the IT organization. Culturally, it's a happy place. Despite the fact senior management makes boneheaded decisions making employees feel like no one cares about them, the majority of the employees are happy and easy to get along with.

Cons

Dealing with the stupidity that is senior management. Acquisitions that make sense on paper but are ineffectually managed in their execution. Lack of clear decision making and direction. A retention bonus plan that is absolutely pathetic. 15 years of service gives you enough points to buy some piece of junk from an on-line store that's worth about $45 retail. $45 for 15 years of service. Unbelievable. Pay is below average for the level of skill and job requirements. Lack of resources to get tasks completed in a timely manner. Too many conflicting requirements without clear direction from senior management about which should be addressed first.

Pros

Talented people, growing company, promotional opportunities, better services than most competitors, diverse business, better to be on outsouring end of business instead of internal IT, flexible work/life culture, honest and ethical approach to business

Cons

Lack of leadership training, not an international company, benefits are costly, limited "brand name" recognition

Pros

Exposure to lots of diverse enviroments. Knowledge sharing is not bad, Middle management at my location is excellent, with lots of feedback and information on whats going on elsewhere. They encourage submission of leads so you get rewarded for growing the business. Professional development is strongly encouraged, and rewarded when you do achieve it provided you make sure that management actually knows you've accomplished it.

Cons

Salarys are somewhat weak, re-embursement for milage is fairly poor. Some of the sales reps should be fired for the deals they sell to clients, When you have nearly impossible SLAs to meet it is a morale drain. Sometimes its impossible to get the account team to get you information you need to work a call, but generally your District manager can resolve that quickly. The offices tend to be in the middle of no where or the back side of office parks, but you're seldom in the office anyway so I don't know that this is a huge downside.
