Pros

Great people to work with, you learn a lot. If you do a good job, there are opportunities to move up.

Cons

Not much pay raise and you tend to have more added to your plate every so often.

Pros

They pay for technical certifications if you can get through all the red tape....

Cons

Senior Leadership has no idea what they are doing. Merits and market adjustments are up to the director (who is never around thus causing use to not receive market adjustments). Seniors are not held accountable for their actions and poor work ethic. No training for new managers and can be a career dead-end. Benefit premiums are way too high and out of pocket costs will destroy your wallet.

Any position above manager requires to be on call 24/7 and the base compensation is not better than other companies. You can see nepotism being a common practice, which has areas under poor management due to this
