Dear former colleague (m/f), thank you very much for taking the time to rate us as a company and giving us a feedback. Nevertheless I shortly want to comment on the cons that you mentioned: Compared to other regional companies, CGM is paying reasonable compensations. When we are looking at Germany (e.g. Koblenz), we are above average in many cases. Of course it is possible that in some cases the salary is not appropriate, but the salary is always negotiable. Maybe an open discussion with your manager or the HR Business Partner would have solved this problem. We do encourage all of our employees to take part in further education. Since I cannot see where you are coming from, I can only take Germany into account. We do even have an in-house english teacher, that is taking care of employee's language skills. I hope that you did find a new and fulfilling challenge. All the best wishes for the future! Best regards, Alexander Dohrmann (Recruitment Specialist)

Pros

-pretty decent technology and tools stack (java spring, maven, jenkins, git, jira, confluence, omnigrok)

Cons

-chaotic management and organization in general. Too many management roles, vaguely defined -little respect towards employees (they forced us to sign for a lower gross when the local government offered an income tax deduction for employees working in IT) -monitoring developers by the minute (punch system when leaving room, logging all time in JIRA, lots of rules for making the time reports be ok)

Dear former colleague (m/f), thank you very much for taking the time to rate us as a company. I am sad to hear, that all of our management and organization executives are chaotic and have no respect. My impression (since I work for this company for some time now as well) are different! We are focussing on lots of projects that are very important for european society, e.g. the implementation of the german e-health law. Of course it is easy to say tht there are to many management roles, from the employee's perspective. However, how to implement new businesses in countries that we have not worked in before is not very easy. If and how to introduce new management roles, these are decisions that are taken on highest level and by people that have several years of job experience in this. It seems that you do not like working time recording. Some empoyees do like this kind of assitance to manage their own working environment and to capture their own workload. Nevertheless I wish you all the best for your private future, as well as for your carrer! Best regards, Alexander Dohrmann (Recruitment Specialist)

Dear former colleague (m/f), thank you very much for taking the time to rate us as a company. Your judgment seems to aim at one goal: Our executives sould improve their behavior towards the employees (at least your executive). I was very surprised by that, since my executives are corteous! In addition to that, I know from many colleagues, that they are content as well. Consequently our leadership culture cannot be as bad as described by you. Nevertheless I do not want to decline, that (of course) some decisions that are taken by the management are not understandable via the perspective of the employees. This might be explained by the fact, that in some cases, the executives have confidential informations about what is going on elsewhere, but these informations are not yet available for everyone. Even though the work environment was great, you would not recommend CGM as an employer. Maybe you would like to share some further informations to me, that led to this decision. Feel free to contact me anytime on Xing, LinkedIn, Facebook or whatever channel you like. All the best wishes for the future! Best regards, Alexander Dohrmann (Recruitment Specialist)
