I disliked the culture at Comtech so much that I left after working there a year and a half, before having another job lined-up. My supervisor had anger issues that made me feel uncomfortable, and I felt intimidated approaching him about certain things. That's not an environment I want to work in! There was another Sr Technician hired a week before I started who was very vocal about his frustration with Engineering, because they weren't interested in any of his ideas about improving the RF tuning process. They let him go a couple months before I quit. Also, I notice three other technicians who were hired around the same time suddenly disappeared. I don't know if they were let go or quit, but either way, the high employee turn over doesn't reflect well on the company. The medical benefit choices are very limited, and from what I've heard, there haven't been any bonuses in years and pay increases are rare.

Relatively small industry. Therefore, after working several years better to move to large companies.
