Poor Management, Culture and Benefits

Pros

You can make a lot of mistakes before you might be held accountable. No need to learn the CEO'S name as they'll be replaced within 6 months.

Cons

Everyone can make a lot of mistakes before they MIGHT be held accountable. There is little effective communication between departments and related business segments. Software tools are antiquated. Management principles and culture feels like its from the 80s and the comoany is failing to adapt to the wants and needs of the current clients. Deadlines are a joke. Company benefits include such cutting edge devices such as locked down internet and mandatory shutdown down where you're forced to use your limited PTO.

Pros

All the best reasons to work here are gone. Another victim of an obsessive board full of vulture capitalists.

Cons

Constantly changing management, always some new over privileged MBA dweeb that wants to make their mark by shaking things up, when the company never gets a chance to settle. Layoffs are frequent, people always coming back whose lives they just ruined. Now it's becoming more gestapo-like, unnecessary assertiveness, messing with the parts of the company that actually work well and make money when the real problems calls for a good hard look in the mirror, taking away remote work because the VPs and execs don't know how to do it effectively (so they of course punish us for they're shortcomings), but really it's just about control and being able to justify being an overpaid VP/exec who does nothing valuable. HR is always trying to trip people up too and pander to the newest CEO from the University of Awful management school. The newest thing is they've restricted our web access taking away useful tools that help us be more productive and are monitoring/treating us like we're children. At this point security is inhibiting production... but that's what happens when you've got a revolving door of management that doesn't know how to actually lead. They start to nitpicking everything everywhere to justify their job being relevant. The latest CEO (we've had 3 in a single year) doesn't know how to talk to people and let's everybody else do it for him, and tanked our stock because he doesn't know how to talk to investors. It's just another company that's going down the tubes. They can't even get their financials in order. That's okay though they'll just skip yearly increases for a couple years in a row and you'll just be 6 to 7% poorer, so they can pay off penalties that they never should have incurred in the first place. It's absolutely maddening to be led by people like this.
