Pros

The people are incredible. I've made some of my closest friends here. There are always yummy snacks in the kitchen. There is a good amount of flexibility with time off and a decent work/life balance if you want it. The projects are often interesting and can be creatively fulfilling.

Cons

Management is very disconnected from its staff. There is a push for quantity content over quality content. Budgets are unrealistic given the types of videos management promises to advertisers. It's easy to feel unappreciated even though you are contributing massively to the success of the company.

Pros

Conde Nast on your resume gets attention Beautiful work space and amenities with a convenient cafeteria

Cons

Many within hold the old mentality of a traditional media company. Outwardly, they want to be seen as a digital player, however they haven't truly adapted to what that means and still do things the way they have always been done. With old thought also comes entitlement on many levels and external players are just not having it anymore. The needs of Senior leadership come before that of client needs. Senior Leadership likes to belittle and embarrass their team members for sport in group settings in the most unprofessional way. Long hours equate to no work/life balance. Don't be fooled by the 'arm of resources' that appear to exist. There is still a great deal of time spent on internal work based on old practices. Quality of work produced by some teams suffers as a result. Mandatory team outings are beyond uncomfortable, and come at a cost of knowing your workload is building up and long hours will ensue.

Pros

Some of the biggest names in print media.

Cons

Some of the biggest names in "print" media. The company is a privately held company. Upper management is a bit oblivious as to what is going on further down the chain. The same people are promoted over and over again. The company pretends to be very forward thinking and is part of some of the newer corporate trends but in the end they have been called Conde Nasty for many decades and given how you are treated - it's very true.
