Hiring and investment decisions are decided by how much revenue is brought inby your deparment. If you were not revenue-generating, there was very little investment in your department.
New platforms were added that severely disrupted existing processes and created bottlenecks for already overextended teams. It is painfully clear that whoever approved the changes had no idea how the teams at Condeco work day to day.
Regional management only focuses on the goals given to them by upper management. They do not know how their teams work day to day and leave the running of the department to middle managers who can solve immediate problems but can do very little to solve larger, more systemic issues.
The dysfunction in Condeco is very well known. Most employees are resigned to it and joke it's the way Condeco works.
