Too many egos at this company. "Fast-paced environment" is a euphemism for burnout no matter which company it is, especially this one. It's really the egos though. Also, companies which are "engaged employers" on Glassdoor (like this one) are usually the ones engaging in the most high-level gaslighting, masking their internal issues with false positive reviews to lure talent or maintain a good reputation. At Conductor, and other companies, this translates into a team of narcissists. Please read up on the topic and see Dr. Ramani on Youtube to learn more - this is a pervasive problem in corporate America and especially Conductor. I'm sure there are pros for some people, but don't believe all the hype. Also -- it's for white people. If you are a person of color, keep moving. It's not the place for us.

Out of touch and dysfunction in management. If you're not coming in on a big salary all likelihood is you will remain underpaid in engineering no matter how much work you put in. Many of the top performers have left over the past year due to the issues listed here.
